I'm STILL seeing people asking others to share petitions against ICE, like that's gonna do a fucking thing.

These petitions don't do shit other than collect and sell your data so orgs can hit you up with newsletters and ask for donations. We are WAY past nicely asking politicians to do their jobs.

For those of you who believe in non-violent resistance to ICE, there is a way to still combat them.

Look up the concept of sand in the gears. It was one way people resisted the Nazis, and it is an easily understandable concept to those of us who work in corporate America.

Crazy seeing all these Gavin Newsom Facebook groups, and they're all loaded with foreign accounts trying to spam or scam people.

That range doesn't even take into account the weight of all the extra fuel, which cuts down on range. Even if these were drug boats, they're going to an island in the Caribbean, not Miami.

Anyone who thinks a speed boat loaded with barrels of fuel can make it all the way from Venezuela to the United States has no idea how fuel consumption works. Large outboard motors get at most 1-1.5 MPG running wide open, each. The range on one of these boats is maybe 400 miles.

If you're white and you know ANY Spanish, it's your duty to start speaking it when ICE is around.

Chances are they have no idea what you're saying, it'll confuse them, and you might have a chance at a lawsuit if they so much as lay a hand on you.

On social media, if an account uses BREAKING, BOMBSHELL, DESTROYED, OBLITERATED or EVISCERATED in nearly every one of their posts, it's a good sign they're engagement bait.

Occupy Democrats, Other 98%, Call To Activism, Palmer Report, Really American, and others like them are not activists or journalists.

They're organizations that solicit donations, engage in clickbait, or pretend to be media outlets in order to cash in on the resistance to Trump and MAGA. Dump them.

Hilarious seeing Occupy Democrats steal someone's Tweet or BlueSky post, then make it into their own image and slap their logo on it, then Being Liberal cuts the Occupy Democrats logo off and puts their own tag on it.

Political grifters are ridiculous.

Being transphobic is such a first world problem. Imagine being so privileged that you need to worry what's in someone's pants?
