The USL W League has confirmed that the Northeast Division will launch with five founding clubs in May 2026.
The Green will form the new division alongside Hartford Athletic, AC Connecticut, New England Mutiny, and Hudson Valley Crusaders.

The Boys in Green are set for a title defense in one of the league’s most competitive divisions. The historic Northeast—home of the last two national champions—will grow to ten clubs in 2026 with the addition of Connecticut Rush.
Vermont Green FC will host professional club Portland Hearts of Pine of USL1 in the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup First Round. The match will be played on Tuesday, March 17 at 7pm on Virtue Field in Burlington.
