A comic page. The first panel shows Haurchefant and the Warrior of Light, a Miqo'te named Lani'li, chatting happily. Lani'li is smiling, laughing at a story Haurchefant is sharing. The second panel shows Lani'li smiling contently, and the third shows Haurchefant looking at Lani'li with a smile of his own. In the fourth panel, Lani'li looks back over as Haurchefant speaks again, this time his tone softer, more thoughtful. Haurchefant's dialogue reads, "You know... when first we met, you reminded me much of the frigid land outside. So solemn, so serious, you were..."

The second comic page. Haurchefant looks towards Lani'li with a soft smile, while Lani'li looks back with some surprise. The dialogue from Haurchefant reads, "But I see now...that couldn't have been further from the truth." The third panel cuts to the scene atop the Vault, and Lani'li now holds Haurchefant's hand as he bids him to smile.
