The sheer absurdity of such display of force is what gets me, the vastly disproportionate use of state power not just to suppress support for the Palestinian people, but to try to quash empathy, to wring the humanity out of people.

Maybe it's just not for them...? I dunno. I feel when a piece is so clearly thematic, it's on the reader to put more effort into interpretation. But maybe I'm just being mean because I really like the story lol

I fell down a slop hole recently. Each channel has its own clickbait theme. Sometimes it's animals rescuing other animals, sometimes it's cheating billionaires with pregnant wives, it's fascinating what the lowest common denominator is expected to be (viewcounts are always low tho)

Normal common feeling, the only thing that works is to get back into it. Doodle and draw some figures from reference, keep it low pressure, it helps
