Our Muslim neighbors contribute so much to our communities, including compassion and kindness that they are too often denied by others. They are humans who deserve dignity and respect. They belong. They matter.

He was also one of the 1st dems to throw trans folks under the bus, voted to censure Al Green, and opposed impeachment last summer.

Wasn't Suozzi one of the ones who voted for the DHS bill in the House too?

Today’s senseless, unjustified attack on Iran makes everyone in the world less safe. This military action is a mistake, and Congress must take action. Pass the Khanna-Massie War Powers resolution. Trump is not above the Constitution, and the U.S. and our allies are not above International law. Bombs will not bring peace. It is weird how those in power never ask how we will pay for endless cycles of destruction and death, but ensuring people have the basic necessities for a dignified life here in the U.S. is “too expensive.” The government must stop spending our tax dollars on war crimes and regime change. I believe it is foolish to start another forever war with preemptive strikes. We already made that mistake once.

Trump has launched a war of “fury,” to “raze” and “annihilate,” that has already killed dozens of Iranian girls, reportedly cost the lives of U.S. servicemembers, and will kill many more of both. He is acting without authorization by Congress and flouting international law.
