once again I reiterate that I have never found a more effective barometer for "is this space safe for my fat cis body" than "show me your specific policies for creating a safe space for trans bodies"
it has a 100% success rate everywhere from doctors to waxing to clothing-optional soaking pools
That's right. You got no leg to stand on, Newsom supporters. Shut your hole. We don't need anti trans anti homeless greaseball shit. North Carolina is purple, it's not some blue stronghold.

Good afternoon! It's day two of "Sell All the Stuff Before We Close The Shop for Bree's Surgery" and I'm preparing another short thread of thinks I've finally restocked!
Starting off are one of our most popular coaster sets! These always go pretty fast, but I have 5 now!

"BUTTERFLIES remember being caterpillars despite being turned into GOO before they emerge from the chrysalis!!!"
"Ma'am this is a Menard's, please pay for your garden gloves and leave"
Exactly! HOW DO THEY KNOW TO DO ALL THESE THINGS? I've read books on it and it's still a total miracle. (also often scientists are like, dang, that's wild -- we actually do NOT understand that part of it)

03.03.2026 19:48 β π 145 π 26 π¬ 2 π 0ALSO I will come over and help plant them if you want! (I love doing this.) Also also, I just ordered 64 plugs, in case you want some of mine. (They'll be pretty small year one-- but the butterflies still lay eggs on them & they're still useful as food for the caterpillars). πΈ
03.03.2026 19:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0No that's a great question! Some plants are major spreaders (I am always fucking up plant spacing). With milkweed, IMO you can plant them pretty close together. Esp year 1, each stalk takes up less than a foot. You can cluster them, I think! Could fit a dozen or so in a smallish space, I think!
03.03.2026 19:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh I have to go to that one! It's a hike from where I live, but I should go. I have been to the nature museum in Lincoln Park recently -- they have a butterfly room and it's so, so lovely! thanks for the reminder re the other spot!
