Just watched and thoroughly enjoyed Butterfly Kisses, so I can now listen to the @tearthemapartpod.bsky.social episode on it (the only one I skipped, to avoid spoilers). If you like found footage horror this one is particularly good.

TEAR THEM APART logo for the podcast I do with Paul Yellovich. We talk about horror movies, growing up as horror and media nerds in the 70s and 80s in NYC and related things. Paul refers to the podcast as our zine, I like to refer to it as being similar to hanging out with friends at a diner after a movie, picking it apart and having fun arguing about it. We've covered John Carpenter's films, the Phantasm and Friday The Thirteenth franchises, movies we liked, movies we hated, movies that are terrible but fun to watch, Giallo, things that scared us as kids, and other things. Lately we've been concentrating on a specific movie per episode. We've done deep dives on Lake Mungo, Butterflky Kisses, The Borderlands (akak Final Prayer) and Mandy. The last movie we covered was Pontypool. Next up will be Jack Be Nimble. We also do live videocast episodes on Youtube, sometimes with guests, those are also available to watch or listen to.
