like most things in TTRPGs if you dont like a mechanic or a system its most likely because your DM didnt do a good job, sorry
03.11.2025 16:40 β π 5 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0ive just seen a lot of people bring a bias AGAINST combat while playing systems whos mechanics mostly revolve around them, while playing characters who mostly exist to be combative, who would have had prior training in combat and warfare.. but whatever. I think a bad experience can ruin it sure but-
03.11.2025 16:40 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0i feel like forced mentality of "combat turns are only a few seconds long" really muddled things. People should be able to roleplay as much as they want during combat, have their speeches, yell out names for their attacks, and generally immerse themselves more.
