I very rarely disagree with @mrjamesob.bsky.social but he said something on his show today that was 😡. He doesn’t like people blaming our press for the right would drift in the country, because he says that would imply that people are stupid.
These people don’t own newspapers for the fun of it.

This is overt racism. Full stop. There’s no ‘misinterpretation’ and no excuse. This is who he is, who he’s always been, and why he should never be anywhere near power again. And there’s a reason the tapes from The Apprentice have never been released.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I know it’s not logical, but the world of football came up with their own resolution of the pronunciation issue: eg Paris Saint-Germain and Ajax are pronounced in the ‘local’ way. Madrid, both Milans, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are not. No one ever pronounces the J in Ajax. 👍
