On a general scale, that statement holds some truth. Though I prefer to word it as "no single game can be made for everybody"

That said; the game that satisfies everything I could want out of a game, the game that's perfect *to me*, is Phoenotopia:Awakening

Wasn't the blood and guts in Mortal Kombat censored for the SNES in North America?

I never actually played it myself, but I thought I heard that somewhere

I personally like using "fighter" as a term for close-quarters combatants, and "brawler" as the martial arts type of character

My issue with "warrior" is that it evokes a more militaristic vibe, which might not apply to the actual character. Meanwhile "brawler" evokes the image of fist-fighting

I had picked this game up, not long after it launched. Holy cow, the SA-X was nightmare fuel to me way back when

... It really didn't help that I was also still a preteen at the time, that stare haunted me in my sleep 😅

The initial entry aside, the SA-X was a great creepy antagonist throughout

It's appearance was scarce enough that you never got used to it. Yet it's presence could be felt throughout the lab, evidenced by the damage it'd leave behind here and there
