I don't know if we'll ever top this, I really wanted people to just find this when it dropped because it's so difficult to promote a song the older it gets. Even if it's really good. I really don't want to have to worry about recreating this magic. But we will try.

I always thought this song had a lil magic in it but that's not really something you can make people feel. Much to my surprise, that's exactly what a lot of people felt hearing this song for the first time. For once in my life, reading the YouTube comments was the best thing I could have done.

We'll figure it out but we are a little struggle band that does not want to stay little lul it's going to be tough

Year 7 of people asking us for a West Coast tour that we increasingly cannot afford year after year it breaks my heart

i've seen more successful bands than us call it quits or pull back on band activities and sometimes i feel crazy

we are not growing as fast as we should be for a band that has been at this for 10 years and wants to tour for the rest of their lives so like i guess anyone would look at us and objectively recognize us as failures (lame but, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) but stuff like this happens and i'm like, why would we quit

The thing about With Sails Ahead is that no we are not hometown heros we sometimes struggle to pull in our own home area but we'll get loving emails from the other side of the world from die-hard listeners and we are very lucky for that
