See, I just wish Vynnset had a tool for salvaging bad hands like gravy does.

As a very avid Chane player, I think I can pretty safely say that Chane is just fundamentally too powerful for the format. I don't see a world where Sage is a healthy format and Chane is not also jettisoned into the sun. Free cards AND cheating resources, plus free go again is just not okay.

That's fair. I do think there was a pretty low hype for DtD, but the contents of that set definitely didn't help.

Yeah. I think yearly expansion sets is too much. We saw that with the clear burnout from dynasty and DtD. But every few years I think is ideal

I'm sure not pro-WotC, But credit where it's due. Collector boosters and their ilk actually did a pretty good job at driving down prices of baseline rarity cards in a fairly meaningful way. And that's great for accessibility for players that have no interest in buying the more expensive product.

I don't want an expansion set like this every year again. But I think there are some card types you just can't print in other sets, and those cards would go a long way to help some heroes more than a splashy majestic.

One expansion set every few years works well for that, I think.

The issue there is standard set commons have to keep draft balance in mind. If they want to give Fai a new rainbow starter that keys on a Phoenix Flame in grave for go again, you couldn't put that as a draftable common in Hunted.

Also, no expansion slot cards (currently) are playable in Sage.

What about just 'Devalue'? is that too clunky? It does a slightly better job of being an umbrella term than disruption. Mask of Momentum isn't a disruptive card, but it is a Devalue card because it forces interaction.

What about 'Devalue'? That's similar but a little broader.
