Years ago, while celebrating my grandma’s 90th bday, she said the secret to a long life is Dr Pepper & cakeβ€”any kind of cakeβ€”& who was I to argue with that logic.

Today, I learned she’s been placed in hospice care. This really hurts, but I’m grateful for the time I’ll get with her tomorrow.

I chose not to set a reading goal for 2025 because PRESSURE. And with the year it’s been, somehow I still managed to read 79 books this year. I’m proud of myself. πŸ™ƒ
