ICYMI, the state of Kansas just invalidated the drivers licenses of 1,000+ ppl whose gender markers did not match their assigned sex at birth. These markers had been legally changed.

There was no grace period. It's now illegal for them to drive to the DMV to get a new license (w/ incorrect gender).

I do sometimes wish I could be stubbornly confident that the pandemic ended in 2022 but unfortunately I live in the real world and see the full spectrum of people (including myself) that are constantly sick and suffering with new shitty health problems over the last few years.

Every time I think about trying to navigate kids through a world with an unmitigated pandemic I am both grateful I don't have to personally make those decisions and horrified about the experiment we as a society are running on our children's brains and bodies.
