And in the end we got it all working (phew) in it's new jacket. A lot of frigging screws though. The #aliexpress shell was so so. Not recommended. Some parts just didn't fit and I had to cut and holes I needed to enlarge. Plastic also felt cheap. #psp #retromodding

Tried alcohol, contact spray, then even deoxit. Scraped with an x-acto knife, but could not get it to make contact. So then I just jumpered it and got it working. But not until I hooked up the IPS screen. Before that it gave the dreaded single green led flash when turning on. #psp #retrorevival

After taking it apart I thought it might be a good idea to test it first to see if it still actually works... It didn't work when connected to a charger. After some troubleshooting, fuses, screen, etc. I decided to check continuity on the DC jack. That was it... #psp

So... I ordered some #psp parts for a neighbour's nephew who wanted to fix his PSP with a broken screen. Which is cool, he is still young but is very interested in them old consoles. So I might have gotten an accidental apprentice... #playstation #retrogaming

I started collecting copiers when I got the Super Famicom, the older copiers I got years after browsing shops in HK. Just looked up Game Master, I do have something that looks like it, but I thought it was only to do real-time saves. Will check when I am back home tomorrow.

Maybe they are 32M and they never made 64M ones because it didn'sell well enough? They didn't tick the sticker with a marker.

I had a thing for copiers. Plan to sell them all though, something like nileswan is much better, 1 cart, all games. Easier to pick up and play. I also have a Magic Griffin, full MGD² set (including NeoGeo) and a SuperH Twin(?). No rush in parting with them though.

I think the carts are the 64M, long time since I used it. Was quite difficult to get them at the time. I have 2 sets, planning to sell eventually, need to finance other things so decided to sell off most of my collection. Keep only what I love/need, which is still a lot :)

OK. Good to know. Will patiently wait for the 2nd batch. Will stick to my 8M LPT drive flash cart for now :)

While browsing the Internets looking for info of what this thing does, I found it is still being sold, but PCB only. It's only about $20. But it seem many people would like a shell for it. So I decided to keep it for now and see if @pointerfunction.bsky.social has time to model it.

The Venus (Bung Ltd.) Mini Doctor V.40. Was planning to sell it so looked up what it actually does. Never tested it in 25 years. You can load a program onto the (missing) SRAM using an FDS and then run it. 32K max. Can be used for development or piracy. #famicom #nes #retrogaming

Yeah, since a while. I had a nice single speed bike from Scandinavia, Colobikes it was called I think. Then it got stolen. At first I thought I have an axcuse to get a nice bike, but then I saw the prices. So I got this 2nd hand for €90. And it already had a name, the Pink Panther. :)
