not just sometimes!! :) i am a big fan of subtle tones. it's a pacing thing. 💙💙

kind of amazing, isn't it? considering that quality of grey light, i was quite surprised. 💙💙

closeup behind a pale pink hellebore. deliberately focused on the outermost petals, the smallest are darker pink over gold. a backlit image... i guess technically front lit as this is the back side, but lit up from winter sunlight. hellebore is in the center of the frame, surrounded by buds, leaves and more flowers. those last, deliberately soft.
