I mostly think about this with movie theaters, which I have a complicated relationship with because I don't have good ones where I live, but I respect that people love them. And I've watched them dry up after Covid because the pandemic finished breaking people's "let's go to the movies" habit.

Covid and everything around it has been a nightmare, but I wonder if we'll look back on this era as a key habit-breaking period, where people who used to just hand their money over to physical locations stopped doing that.
