America forgot this on & since J6. Freedom of speech does not protect speech that incites imminent lawless action, including "true threats" (serious expressions of intent to commit violence against a specific person/group) & "fighting words" (words that tend to incite an immediate violent response).

My condolences to the family of Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman. She was the victim of a political assassination a few months ago. Where was the outrage?

I also hope they all are granted the type of empathy that they, themselves, have exemplified.

This in conjunction with deportations being done without due process makes ICE extremely dangerous, not only to all immigrants, and POC, but to all US citizens, too. It is just a matter of time before this is used to round up anyone they want to, including dissidents.

The legal standard below reasonable suspicion is mere suspicion, aka a hunch or gut feeling. It’s the lowest level of legal justification for a police encounter, characterized by an officer's personal feeling or instinct that a crime may be or has been committed, w/no substantial evidence thereof.
