The laughter from him helps Riley ease up. There's a weak chuckle from the shorter as he shifts over to lean against MacTavish.

The captain supports his lover's weight. He can't help but to slide a hand down over Riley's stomach and imagine how he'll look carrying their baby.

"I might've.. poked holes in your condoms. And uh.. maybe missed one or a few days of the pill."

There's a long pause before MacTavish snorts.

The tension from MacTavish melts away, his expression furrowing as he tries to put the pieces together.

His movements slow as he approaches Riley again. He uses a hand to lift the other's chin.

"Riley.. it can't be mine. I've always used protection, and you're on the pill."
