I was one of the thousands of women who woke up somewhere between 3-5am that night. No one will ever convince me that wasn’t a bolt of pure feminine rage and energy that shot through our country as they announced this false winner.

I was in ROTC in high school, and I agree with you. I saw a vet say “once you learn to march, it’s ingrained in you, and you have to work to get it this wrong”.

There are a few theories out there by members of the military and by veterans that to walk with that lack of precision while in uniform is, actually, a form of silent protest.

•the election was stolen
•there was absolute tampering in the process
•the “perade” was a RAGING flop
•trump is definitely in the Epstein files

Don’t we all just accept these things as fact already?

In the United States in 2025, Chris Jackson singing “history has its eyes on you” feels like an indictment.

I did read them. I read them when I was 13.

They upset me because I was a particularly sensitive child, but I’m glad I read them because I still have the messages within them inside me.

And I wish everyone had had to read these books, instead of just the “advanced” kids. Everyone.

In retrospect, everyone should have been forced to read those books.

Because they stayed with me into my adulthood. And they should have stayed with everyone else too.

Only the “GT” or “Pre-AP” kids had to read Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, 1984, Lord of the Flies, etc when I was a kid.

Which is why the smart kids grew up to be smart adults who recognize fascism when it calls itself MAGA and wraps itself in an American flag.
