I think photopea just worked for me on firefox *but* maybe give chromium a try… there is 2 sites I have to keep chromium around for because they just work awful on firefox Linux for some reason… I know chromium and all bad but if you’re using it for a few sites and it helps might be worth a shot?

Aww... Sad to hear that on photopea... It does feel like there's some alternatives in the wings but... Most are still early in development... I would suggest maybe seeing if krita could work? It might be a decent Linux native option!

I used Winboat for Affinity and it worked... Until it didn't :( It kinda just died on me and I have no idea why... I coulda probably remade the VM but honestly my last session was so frustrating I decided I'd just use GIMP... But you can still give it a shot! IT may work better for you!

Hmm... I did see the winboat suggestion in the other post... Honestly it *may* be your best bet for some better Software options (BUT you need a good chuck of ram and cores for it!) I will say a word of caution...

Ignore the line about photo manipulation for some reason I saw the Sonic Generations pic and thought you were going to edit it??? I do know you're an artist, it just occurred to me the pic might not be quite so related...

There's photopea which is a webapp, there's Krita but it's more for drawing I think than image manipulation, idk if you're saying this as a Linux user or just as a free software user but I just got Paint Tool SAI working well using WINE (easy setup with Bottles)
