Shaheen is retiring; Virginia is solid enough Blue territory that Kaine shld be replaced by a Democrat who is serious about preserving American democracy.

This calmed me down, but I’m still mad.

The arrogance of a Senator who is not even running again to take the lead in undermining the Caucus and the voters.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

So at the beginning of Nov Congress would have been paid, unless they specifically had their pay check held.

I would argue they should donate it because they haven’t worked.

Flying at 8000 feet today News Captain says flying at 8000 feet (!) Newark to Savannah today instead of 34000 because of air traffic control restrictions. Everyone has to say seated including flight attendants. Never in my 40 years in flying has this happened … wondering what the view will be 😀
