It’s still early days. It just feels like it’s missing something as everything is nice and fluffy and done at a snail’s pace. It definitely needs a wee shake up. We were basically stuck in Bologna for 5 days wondering what to do. You can basically get around Bologna in a day and a half and see all the sites. We ended up breaking up our time there by catching a train to Milan just for the day. After the 5 days in Bologna we headed for Florence.

I’ve never been a Hamilton fan but I’ve got a whole new respect for him now that his aura of of invincibility got stripped away by Max. Just watching the human aspect of him now in an inferior car but still wanting to do the best he can. He could easily have just walked away. Kudos! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It’s not like the football when you get disappointed when your team loses. Everybody just gets caught up in the whole carnival atmosphere and you just embrace the whole occasion for what it is, even the queue at the train station then catching the bus to the circuit.

It certainly made up for the year before. We had tickets for Imola Emilia Romangna - the one that got cancelled. We’d actually built a holiday around the race so we were in Venice the day before we were heading to Bologna when we got the news, so we couldn’t come home anyway.

It was crazy. Stuck in a stand full of the Ferrari tifosi going mental and here’s me with the red bull gear on. Beer was flying everywhere 😭😭😭 It was the perfect day for them - their home circuit and a Ferrari win. Best sporting atmosphere I’ve ever experienced.

So looking forward to the final 3 GPs of the season, starting this coming weekend in Vegas. Can’t wait till I go to another GP next season. Maybe Barcelona. The last one at that circuit before it’s replaced by Madrid. It’s gonna take a lot to top being at Monza a couple of months ago.
