Yo this movie actually kicked fucking ass. I wasn't so sure what I'd get myself into with a sequel to something as iconic as The Shining, but it pulled it off in fucking style. It does a lot of new interesting stuff but also really plays into The Shining in a way that really works.

We might be entering critical hyperfixation territory... I started Fatal Frame 3 already. 🥴

I'm so tempted to hop on it ASAP. Have heard some good stuff about 3. Also heard it's the longest one, though?

Really damn good. The story comes together in a much better way than the first game did. Mio and Mayu are much more compelling than Miku and Mafuyu, though the difficulty in this game's not as tight as the first one, and that's where it falters. Otherwise, peak

Goated. Can't wait to play the next one. The progression in the game is really intuitive and the combat is fun and inventive. It's a short one—I clocked in like barely 7 hours, but that's how I like my horror games. Short and sweet. It hooked me pretty well.

Might take a short break and play something lile Echo Night before I go and pick up Fatal Frame 2.

Fatal Frame is so good I had to remind myself that I jave work in the morning to restrain myself from playing any more tonight.

The PS2 truly is the best console ever because it is constantly becoming more powerful. Each time we say something "looks like a PS2 game" we're talking about a game of a higher fidelity than the last. What the PS2 is capable of in 2025 is so far beyond what it was capable of in 2003. Fun and simple show I watched while doing literally anything (chores, prepping dinner, waiting for a flight, playing Dark Souls) and it was aight. Good cast, but plot has trended downward during the latest seasons and the penchant for losing black actors is somewhat worrying.
