The Trapped Victim

I started taking the meds again a couple of days ago, and I'm already feeling a little better. But the depression hasn't fully lifted yet.
That's how it went.

Very soon I'll get back to drawing free art for my patrons and fanart, because my energy is slowly coming back.

After the Halloween event ended, I just rested for a few days
And I forgot to get back on the meds. I went without them for over two weeks, and that's when the withdrawal hit. So the "depression" seemed to come out of nowhere, but there was a clear reason.

The reason is that I'm an idiot.

I take meds for anxiety disorder. Earlier I mentioned I was organizing a big Halloween event for a lot of people. Of course, where there's a party, there's alcohol. You're not supposed to drink while on these pills, so I stopped taking the medication for a while.

Vacation report

I'm feeling a bit better now.
These past few days I haven't been working at all. Just chilling, playing games on my phone, watching movies and series, and for fun sculpting little figures out of plasticine

Turns out I was going through withdrawal syndrome and depression kicked in.

On the contrary, I would like to be isolated and not talk to anyone...

As someone with an anxiety disorder (I have an official diagnosis from a psychotherapist), I totally get you.

Yeah, I let myself feel bad and just do nothing, not even talk to people. Today I’m feeling a bit better and I’ve booked an appointment with a specialist to figure out what’s going on.

I don't know what to do about it yet.

I thought it was all because I was simply exhausted from organizing Halloween, and that I just needed time to recover. But no, this depressive state has been going on for too long.

That's why I've started posting so rarely. I have no idea what's happening to me...

I don't want anything, there's absolutely no desire to do anything or move forward. I don't even want to talk to people or see anyone. I just want to lie on the bed like a log.

I want to share some recent news about myself.

It's been a month now that I've been in some kind of sadness, apathy — it really strongly resembles depression.
Drawing has become extremely difficult for me, my hands have completely given up. I'm forcing myself to draw.
