11.03.2025 05:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The kit came with instruction videos that I followed - they are available on Youtube, however they are in Danish. But they were quite decent. They are at Tante Groenβs youtube channel if you want to have a look.

The lining was not as terrifying as I had thought. And way less so than steeking, as it can - fortunately- be undone. It did take a bit of time getting set up (and mentally ready) π
Most satisfying and challenging knitted object Iβve made in a long time. It was not the knitted part that was challenging - it was my first time attaching a zipper and lining, and it went decently well (?). π

@commonthreadfiber.bsky.social made another stunning shawl pattern with an epic inspiration in the ents of Middle Earth. Highly recommend!

Snowfall today. Itβs beautiful. I feel lucky that I have an errand in the city, so I have an excuse for going for a walk.
Very thankful for my woolen hand knit garments today.
Itβs absolutely beautiful.
Once I finish my current 4 projects, I should dig through my leftovers and make a plan. π
It looks amazing! It will be worth all the ends.

The Winter Queen graced us with a short visit during the night.
Much to my disappointment, it didnβt leave snow enough to let me throw a snowball at my partner. Next time, I guess.
Tulips in a glass vase. They are pink, red and yellow.
Some tulips to brighten up the grey winter weather. Looking forward to the garden blooming in spring - the early spring flowers are slowly waking up.

Snow covered garden.
It is yet another grey, moody day here in Denmark, so Iβm looking back at photos from November 2024 where we got a bit of snow.
I miss the snow. It makes winter more bearable, as it brightens up the otherwise dark days.
Photo shows a table viewed from above, where papers with watercolor and a sketchbook with color swatches are scattered. The watercolor paintings are: leaves (bottom left), flowers (top left), color swatches (top right) and a proper attempt of flowers with grass scattered among them (bottom right).
I thought I would give this platform a shot, seeing how many of my favorite people are transitioning to this place (and all the fβed up reasons why a transition is necessary).
So hi! Hereβs a random photo of one of my newer crafty endeavors.
