US midterm elections are coming up in November, including 35 senate seats, all seats in the House of Representatives, & many offices in the states.
Elections in the US are privately funded, often by rich firms & individuals seeking legislative favors.
This is how it looks:
After China, India is the world's second-largest coal consumer, burning 1.26 billion metric tons annually.
This is expected to more than double by 2050 to a peak of 2.62 billion metric tons per year.
We must do much better!
