Every person in my cohort is either a full-time nurse leader or educator… many w/multiple children. They volunteer, have hobbies, and maintain full lives outside of nursing & school, all while completing a full-time doctorate program. They deserve to walk and get that degree.

They canceled the winter ceremony, so I’ll be walking in May instead. A lot of my classmates decided they will not walk because of that, but I was like, heck yeah, I’m walking in May!! We worked too hard. Hopefully, they change their minds.

Finally finished my DNP paper, just waiting on my instructor’s final feedback and preparing my presentation. I can’t believe this journey is almost over. 1 of my biggest accomplishments yet. But I’m excited for the future. Excited to get back some time to work on other goals.

Most of my favs are October but my brother (another fav) is Nov 2!

Shoutout to my mother-in-law 🥹 she went grocery shopping for us, got a bunch of new kitchen appliances like an air fryer, and even picked up a little play tower for the cat. I really gotta give her first grandbaby 😆

Fucking KILLED it today. Finish could've been better, but everything else was fuckin firing.

And I’m a spiritual person, I believe that if you cheat in marriage, you’re not just answering to your partner for that… you’re answering to God. I think people forget that, or maybe they just don’t take the vows they made before God seriously.

I wouldn’t play around with that.

You have to believe there’s someone out there who values marriage and divine partnership enough not to cheat. Someone who chooses to stay faithful because that’s part of their morals. Not cheating isn’t hard; it’s one of the easiest things to avoid participating in.

I always say when do they even get the time? Ppl out here focused on making moves to help their fam survive the next 10 yrs. If they still has time to be unfaithful, they’re clearly lacking in other areas of life. But plenty aren’t on that type of time. Bad apples always in the limelight.

Because if that’s the case, why congratulate women when they get engaged if you believe all married men cheat? Why would anyone even want to get married if that’s the mindset? But remember what I always say about beliefs.

Idk either, but I’m so tired of these poor examples… they make married men look bad as a whole to other* people.. and I think it’s not fair to do so. I’ve never been for projecting those negative examples onto all married men, even before I got married.

The only thing I’m against right now is evil and negativity. If it’s not either of those and it’s not hurting anyone, I have no issue with it. But seeing all this division happening from these areas, especially with everything going on in the world is really disappointing.

Before I start my work, I just want to say it’s really disappointing to see diaspora wars reaching the spiritual community.. cursing and saying certain people aren’t welcome because their family’s nationality is wild. We’re better than that. But I’m going to continue to just pray for the world.
