I'm trying to avoid commenting on the news for my own mental health but I still feel the need to comment on that "a state just legally codified the literal dehumanization of an entire class of people" feels like it should be blasting the headlines, and yet... nothing

It’s time for our legislators to take a lesson in courage from eighth graders like Lydia and stand up to the gun lobby.

Every single day, the President or a member of his administration does something that would have ended the career of politicians in the past, but nothing happens to them because they aren’t politicians.

They’re performers.

He broke the law.

She was illegal.

They’re a criminal.

This is what people say when we point out the abuse & atrocities in the ICE camps.

No one should be treated this way.

No one should be denied food, water & medical care.

No one should be denied due process.
