A friend drove two hours today for her breast cancer chemotherapy only to learn it was canceled due to NIH cuts. Clinical trial ended midstream. No treatment, no restart, no plan, no information. Her bro-in-law's chemo was also canceled.

Government spending has been flat for a decade, and now it’s sharply declining. Who’s going to fill the gap? Domestics? Maybe, but how? It won’t be fast enough.

I’m just saying, there are bigger fish to fry.

I’m more keen to understand where any money will come from to meet global health goals.

I’m all about critiquing financialization of health, but I have no confidence that blended finance is the boogie man.
