Waypoints has become my favorite roll and write. I have a few copies in my travel bag for downtime at airports or coffee shops. Can't wait to try the new map!

Did everything become so flooded with bullshit that we lost our collective capacity to name and refuse it?

I'm going to put aside the weird feeling of seeing a saint born after I was, but since we know the guy was big on halo 2 there are now people who in 2004-2005 got fragged by a saint on xbox live

If they made a Santa Clause movie where a young Tim Allen played for the Bills before killing Santa with his car.

This is what I cant wrap my mind around

With 4:48 left to play, the #Bills were down 15 points and had a 0.9% chance of winning this game

And somehow…somehow they pulled it off and scored 16 points to win

Mind-boggling #BillsMafia

My hope for today's Bills game is a 39-0 win, where Buffalo scores exclusively through field goals.

The thing about investing in public transit is that it *scales* β€” the more people use it, the better it gets. For everyone.

Whereas the more cars there are, the *worse* everything about driving gets. Traffic. Parking.

[Ever noticed that in just about every car ad it’s alone on the road? Yeah.]

M365 Copilot fails to up productivity in UK government trial : AI tech shows promise writing emails or summarizing meetings. Don't bother with anything more complex

Two trials will be repeated endlessly despite always producing the same results:

1) Does UBI work? (yes)
2) Does AI improve productivity? (no)

Search LibGen, the Pirated-Books Database That Meta Used to Train AI Millions of books and scientific papers are captured in the collection’s current iteration.

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

If you are going to make a game where sustainability is a mechanism, maybe you should use that mechanism when you are making the game? There are plenty of ways to improve the sustainability of production. It adds cost, but greenwashing, and the original post point out, has its own cost.

"Blueskyism" helped the Mississippi Free Press overcome algorithmic suppression on other platforms (Facebook, Threads) and ride out plummeting engagement on Twitter following Musk's X takeover.

Thank God we took our eggs out of the X basket when we did.

I believe that the second best use of time travel technology would be to go see all your favorite bands before they broke up or when they were at their peak.

I've been reading a lot about game design and production, but "it got set on fire" wasn't in many instructional texts to the best of my memory.

Anyway, this game looks really cute.

Finally realized why the last few concerts I went to seemed "off." Ten years ago, you'd absolutely lose your phone in the chaos (or to the crowd) if you had the audacity to raise it in the air and record a meaningless video mid-show. Small venues will always be the best.
