But we must also be wielding the ultimate weapon: the power of the organized working class to halt the economy through political strikes and sabotage. The duty is not merely to survive this regime, but to annihilate the capitalist state that produced it and build a new world from its ashes.

The only effective response is to build material counter-power. This requires a disciplined acceptance of confrontation, the construction of autonomous infrastructure through mutual aid, and (sometimes violent) community defense.

The Democratic Party functions not as an opposition but as a manager of surrender, committed to protecting the capitalist system that birthed fascism. Segments of the left, trapped in academic definitions, failed to recognize the threat until it was too late.

This fusion of state and capital is profitable; repression creates a gold rush for private prisons and defense contractors, funded by gutting social services. This consolidation of power proceeds with the active collaboration of its capitalist backers and bureaucratic enablers.
