I think that I might be a little bit in love with Hannah the Plumber. Or maybe I’m in awe.

Although in my case, the two things overlap completely.

Starmer equating the Greens and Reform as β€œextremes of left and right” sounds like the hammering of coffin nails into his career and Labour’s prospects. An unserious man.

Two cardinal rules of mechanics:
A) use lots of lube
B) if it doesn’t go in easily, you’re probably doing it wrong.

Thank you for your request, detailed below, which we received on 19 January 2026.
"1) Does the EHRC hold minutes for meetings with any trans-led or trans- focused groups (excluding general LGBTQI+ groups) in the last 5 years.
For clarity, these could include but are not limited to:

FOI reveals the EHRC holds zero minutes of meetings with trans-led organisations in the past 5 years.

This is the UK’s 'equality' regulator.

Trans voices are not important enough for the EHRC to keep a record of what was said. This should be a headline in all the papers.

I hope that you’re right that the trend is downwards. but it misses the point. Farage has worked out that under FPTP any lead will give him power, and he’s concentrating on solidifying his base. He won’t go much lower than he is, and the other parties won’t get much higher. He’s winning.

I’ve also desisted on the basis that I don’t do things that I don’t want done to me. Couldn’t resist this one though.

I should be ashamed of myself for posting this or even thinking it, but when I see this picture my brain starts transvestigating. She passes quite well for someone who hasn’t gone to Facial Team yet.

It’s a nice Farage of pointing out problems without having to present solutions. At some point it will wear very thin. Please start working towards a new phase with some real policies.

She had to do that after the GMC suspended her licence, although part of what they got her on was her record-keeping. They are patient-lead, so if you know what you want and are well enough, it works OK. I can see it working less well for complex cases and if you’re less strong, or can’t afford it.

A doctor hounded out of the NHS… because she’s trans.

Dozens of trans kids’ lives ended tragically early.

WI branches closing down because of transphobia.

The self-declared protectors of women and girls must be so proud.

Social media misleads young on gender transitioning, says UK review leader Hilary Cass, who led youth gender identity services review, warns of β€˜unrealistic images and expectations’

Dr Beth Upton went to work one day to help sick people, and that is it. She's done nothing wrong (highlighted by the courts), never got involved in the media, never said a bad word about anyone, even once. And she's been hounded out of the country by bigots who hate that she exists.

That silver lining comes with a cloud. Reform will be far worse than anything that evil Labour winkers have done. Negligence will become vindictiveness.

A media frenzy targeting trans people trying to live their lives forces trans folk out of jobs they love. The BBC have played a major part in this frenzy of bigotry. 1/4

@lucympowell.bsky.social, @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social, and co are at best being misled and at worst are actively and knowingly implementing systems of child abuse in health and education.

Help us appeal the High Court’s judgment on trans rights | Good Law Project

High Court rules on lawfulness of the EHRC’s interim guidance High Court decides services may lawfully allow trans women to use women’s facilities – but the fight for trans rights continues

This is our news read out:

"Service providers may lawfully allow trans women to use women’s facilities without being forced to open them to cis men" and "the EHRC’s exclusionary draft Code of Practice does not accurately reflect the law and the Minister will have to send it back to be rewritten."

13.02.2026 11:05 β€” πŸ‘ 196    πŸ” 61    πŸ’¬ 10    πŸ“Œ 6

The Supreme Court has fundamentally undermined the Equality Act. The judges blatantly lied about β€œpainstakingly” reviewing the Act for inconsistencies. They did not.

The damage is so severe that only a complete rewrite of the legislation can properly restore its purpose and effectiveness.

New data shows surge in trans kids’ suicides following healthcare rollbacks | Good Law Project A freedom of information request by Good Law Project has found that deaths by suicide of trans young people under 18 surged following the withdrawal of gender-affirming healthcare

It's like Blue Labour is seeing the explosion in trans suicidality and is rubbing its hands together and saying, 'ooh, we want more of that!'

Labour continues to troll the trans community - and to prioritise pleasing the right wing press. We know Hilary Cass was selected for her transphobic views: Kemi Badenoch told us exactly that.

So why is she running trans policy for Labour?

It’s in how people interact with me in a way that feels right. An openness because they perceive that I’m comfortable and happy in who I am, when they could see the disconnect and discomfort before.

Trans joy is a feeling of liberation that I can walk out of my front door without having to hide who I am, or dress a certain way, or make a mental check that I conform to a gender that doesn’t belong to me. It’s freedom, pride, rightness, simplicity, happiness. Less noise in my head. 🌸
