I think that I might be a little bit in love with Hannah the Plumber. Or maybe Iβm in awe.
Although in my case, the two things overlap completely.

Starmer equating the Greens and Reform as βextremes of left and rightβ sounds like the hammering of coffin nails into his career and Labourβs prospects. An unserious man.

Two cardinal rules of mechanics:
A) use lots of lube
B) if it doesnβt go in easily, youβre probably doing it wrong.

Equality and Human Rights Commission Dear Your Freedom of Information Request FOI Reference: 15238932 Date: 16 February 2026 Thank you for your request, detailed below, which we received on 19 January 2026. "1) Does the EHRC hold minutes for meetings with any trans-led or trans- focused groups (excluding general LGBTQI+ groups) in the last 5 years. For clarity, these could include but are not limited to: - TransActual - Translucent/Steph's Place - Scottish Trans - Trans legal project - Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective - Trans Safety Network - Trans Solidarity Alliance - Trans Resistance Network - Trans Exile Network If so, could you a) break down how many sets of minutes were recorded per year. (Here 1 "set of minutes" means "minutes for 1 meeting") And b) name which trans-led or trans-focused organisation these are with." This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Response Following a search of our records, we have determined that the information you have requested is not held by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. While the Commission regularly engages with a wide range of stakeholders, including trans-led and trans-focussed civil society organisations where relevant to our work, we do not hold any formal minutes of meetings with the organisations listed in your request within the timeframe specified. FOI reveals the EHRC holds zero minutes of meetings with trans-led organisations in the past 5 years.
This is the UKβs 'equality' regulator.
Trans voices are not important enough for the EHRC to keep a record of what was said. This should be a headline in all the papers.
I hope that youβre right that the trend is downwards. but it misses the point. Farage has worked out that under FPTP any lead will give him power, and heβs concentrating on solidifying his base. He wonβt go much lower than he is, and the other parties wonβt get much higher. Heβs winning.

16.02.2026 12:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0She had to do that after the GMC suspended her licence, although part of what they got her on was her record-keeping. They are patient-lead, so if you know what you want and are well enough, it works OK. I can see it working less well for complex cases and if youβre less strong, or canβt afford it.

WI branches closing down because of transphobia.
The self-declared protectors of women and girls must be so proud.

Dr Beth Upton went to work one day to help sick people, and that is it. She's done nothing wrong (highlighted by the courts), never got involved in the media, never said a bad word about anyone, even once. And she's been hounded out of the country by bigots who hate that she exists.

We always knew this would be a long and hard fight. We are going nowhere.
We will fight until the battle is won:

This is our news read out:
"Service providers may lawfully allow trans women to use womenβs facilities without being forced to open them to cis men" and "the EHRCβs exclusionary draft Code of Practice does not accurately reflect the law and the Minister will have to send it back to be rewritten."
The Supreme Court has fundamentally undermined the Equality Act. The judges blatantly lied about βpainstakinglyβ reviewing the Act for inconsistencies. They did not.
The damage is so severe that only a complete rewrite of the legislation can properly restore its purpose and effectiveness.
LINO - Labour In Name Only

Labour continues to troll the trans community - and to prioritise pleasing the right wing press. We know Hilary Cass was selected for her transphobic views: Kemi Badenoch told us exactly that.
So why is she running trans policy for Labour?
Itβs in how people interact with me in a way that feels right. An openness because they perceive that Iβm comfortable and happy in who I am, when they could see the disconnect and discomfort before.
12.02.2026 16:43 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Trans joy is a feeling of liberation that I can walk out of my front door without having to hide who I am, or dress a certain way, or make a mental check that I conform to a gender that doesnβt belong to me. Itβs freedom, pride, rightness, simplicity, happiness. Less noise in my head. πΈ
