An employee of University Hospital of Wales has been arrested on suspicion of rape, strangulation and other crimes
To the outrage of the complainant, the hospital has decided not to suspend him.
He is in a “non-patient facing role” while on police bail.

Ms Gilmer herself described the gym misconduct as "predatory". But the restriction on naming the officer means that when he enters a new line of work, or forms new personal relationships, those affected might not be able to fully inform themselves of his history.

That PCC is Labour's Emma Wools, who is paid £88,602 a year by the taxpayer to hold South Wales Police to account.
But last year she backed anonymity for Officer F without explaining why, and she didn't even respond when we asked her views on the gym case.
He told us: "Any other member of the public would have faced the full force of the law in open court and not been granted anonymity.
"The South Wales PCC should be held to account by her Police and Crime Panel for this abuse of the justice system."
The restrictions on naming Officers F and Y are an "abuse" of open justice.
That's the view of Arfon Jones, former police and crime commissioner (PCC) for north Wales.
Last year we revealed two other SWP officers' names had been kept secret in misconduct hearings, both because of "concerns for their safety".
We found this out after reporting the force to a data watchdog because it had failed to respond to our Freedom of Information request.
But the child had nothing to do with the crime itself. Mr Vaughan ignored legal precedent that the interests of a child with no direct involvement in a case should not justify anonymising the officer.

The officer escaped prosecution for malicious communications because the "evidential" test was not met, despite Ms Gilmer herself saying: "There is no cogent explanation as to anyone else who could have sent these messages from the Instagram account."

This seems to fly in the face of legal precedent.
As one landmark ruling put it, even when press coverage of cases is "painful" or "humiliating" for a person and their family, this is "the price to be paid for open justice and the freedom of the press".
Our appeal against the reporting restriction was rejected by Ms Gilmer.
She refused to explain her reasons but insisted they "do go beyond embarrassment to the officer and, in my judgement as chair, would have led to catastrophic impact on family members of the officer".
The decision to anonymise "Officer Y" was taken by assistant chief constable Jenny Gilmer, who chaired his misconduct hearing.
Her explanation was that naming him would be "embarrassing" and have an "adverse impact" on him and his family.
... it is determined to hide his name and rank from the public.
We don't know why, exactly, but we do know the force is developing a habit of protecting disgraced officers from accountability.
There's been another alarming transparency failure from South Wales Police.
An off-duty officer covertly photographed men in a gym then used an Instagram alias to bombard them with disturbing messages and images he'd taken without consent.
The force sacked him but...
A Cardiff gym is still charging members months after it closed, with no explanation for why refunds are months overdue or why attempts to take fees have continued.
Its co-owners Tom and Sam Curran, who play cricket for England, remain silent on the matter.
