The difference taking your time to brush out seams more, carefully shave over everything again and do detailing. I don't use a guard or anything.

I do preshave stuff but nothing beats doing that last step for me :)

I was offered a spot off the wait-list for ACFI a little bit back while everything was going down so I'm here!

I have been juggling a lot and only got home about 2 weeks ago from my late Mom's so still working on getting back at it.

Sorry for the lack of public queue updates.

My Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in late May/ early June and passed away last week. I have been here for weeks helping with her hospice care. I'm grieving and it all just sucks.

TFF was a whirlwind and I'm so tired. I almost was completely sold out after Fri/ Sat in the AA other than my Doof art dolls and the gemsbok premade. I'm so thankful for everyone - this is the one big con I do a year.

I'm in the TFF AA and it's been insane! I'm over across from the FurScience table and will be in the same spot tomorrow. I probably will not set up Sunday.

I still have several art dolls plus the gems bok and lion premades available :)

Project catch up - An art liberty paw and tail set for one of the werewolves I sold at AnEx. Client suggested the orange and it was a fun addition!

It was grey and raining the days after I finished them so I gave up getting outdoor pictures and sent them to their home :)

Kæda reached out to see if I could make a moehawk work with his head and that sounded like a neat challenge. I removed the velcro and added many magnets.

I updated his existing hair but also made new faux fur and "hair" style hawks. Learned some things! Appreciate the trust :)

I need to spend the rest of my week doing my taxes and finishing up my TFF oddbobs so I don't go crazy but I'm excited for the con!

Max and Reese tails!

I make a new pattern for every tail because I'm a little bit crazy but also because every dummy has a different proportions so what might suit one might be too big for another.

The eyeballs are in the smoothing chamber and I'm still waiting to see how that goes 😅

Little reminder to make sure you have adequate venting for your work!

I have a inline fan w/ a carbon filter going outside that I can hook up to my printer or a tent for resin/ glue/ etc.

Using an upgraded plastic for 3D eyes - going to be able to vapor smooth for a better finish and I'm excited!

Time to post more of my art dolls - these are zwoops! They are strange noodles but very much friend shaped :)

They have moving jaws which what I wanted to experiment with them. These two found homes at AnEx, but I plan to have a few new faces at TFF!

Patterned, cut out, and clipped a werewolf tail yesterday when my hands needed a change of movement :)

Dressing a dummy in a fursuit is always a workout! Was being picky checking Reese's bodysuit fit again.

Gonna start carving Max and Reece's heads Wednesday and I'm so ready! Heads are my favorite part so I save them for last :)

I had been getting into art dolls and finally unveiled my menagerie at AnthroExpo!

These were my first - they are "Anjou"! They are dumb little pear shaped guys but really like you :)

I learned so much making them! Their spines are ball and socket armature and the feet are wired for stablity.

A pile of indoor and outdoor pawbs! 🐾

A side project last month was experimenting with TPU (thanks to Tide's fin!) and continuing that thought by designing some canine toes to use.

I felt like it's a superior material for my style and build preferences for feet and it took some time iterating but in quite happy! :)
