04.03.2025 14:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs very concerning. We have Europe PMC but to my understanding itβs not updated independently of PubMed.

I mainly do publications, which can be quite dry. But opportunities to present science more creatively, such as graphical abstracts, are growing all the time.
23.02.2025 09:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0RFK Jr. thinks that a clinical trial should be done for the entire childhood vaccine schedule. Hereβs why that will never happen.
1. You canβt do a randomized trial of something that we already know is safe and effective. There would have to be a placebo group that didnβt get vaxxed. Unethical.

17.02.2025 10:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm working on an FAQ document on an immunology product at the start of the week. Then I'm at an onsite meeting in Amsterdam on Wednesday and Thursday. This is not a typical week though as I rarely travel for work these days. I may take Friday off as it is half-term here in the UK.

Things that didn't make the news that will likely change our lives for the better
The news is not an accurate reflection of the world.
Good news doesn't get reported as much.
Here are the wonderful things researchers have achieved recently.

I find LinkedIn incredibly tedious. However, I try to post from time to time to maintain some kind of presence and I have got work from it. The adverts and suggested posts are becoming increasingly infuriating though.
16.02.2025 12:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This has been pretty much my experience too:
2020-2022: More work than I knew what to do with
2023-2024: Still busy but not turning down work as much
2025: Very busy start to the year
I do try to market myself and I think that helps to keep the work coming in. It's not easy though.
Results of the Freelancing Barometer survey are out for #MedComms freelancers. #medicalwriting
