Saw an early screening of A24’s #Y2Kmovie. The movie was an ode to millennials who grew up during that era. While there were a lot of misses, I can appreciate the creativity #A24 affords their creators. Good or bad, the one thing you can always expect from their films is the unexpected.

So #DuneProphecy is pretty much Game of Thrones but with spaceships. 😅

Oh you don’t need any frame of reference to enjoy the movie. People who have watched the play will appreciate the things they’ve done but you’ll be fine watching it without any additional context. It stands on its own quite well.

All I can say right now is that this is a movie you’ll want to see in theaters. A beautiful adaptation of the Broadway play. My full review coming Tuesday ✨.
