Just finished Jackie Brown again. When I saw it back in 1997 I remember being so disappointed with it. This was QT’s third movie, 22 year old me was expecting another Pulp Fiction. 22 year old me was a dick.
49 year old me adores Jackie Brown. It’s so fucking good.

8 years ago today the amazing William Peter Blatty left this earth.
I am a huge fan of Blatty’s ‘faith trilogy’, which is made of THE EXORCIST, THE NINTH CONFIGURATION and EXORCIST III.

I adore Blatty’s writing and these films are very special to me. Have you seen all three of these?

Amazing! So glad you enjoyed it. Anthony Perkins is so good. You feel sorry for him at times. 3 is pretty good, not a patch on 2 though. I’ve still not watched 4. Let me know your thoughts.
