It's really baffling to me. They have so many artists, and Daisuke himself is very good at drawing small, intricate details. I have no idea why they used genAI. If they wanted something as filler they could've easily created a mosaic pattern in photoshop in 5 seconds

Mmm. Me too. Daisuke's newest style feels too "plasticky" if that makes sense. Overrendered and very shiny. Not my thing. I prefer the older, more gritty traditional feel.
Character design wise too. Everyone is way too pretty, and I feel like there's a bad case of sameface.
It's ok. But not for me.

Tried to do my taxes today because of the snow.
First of all, it looks like I'll be getting about 600 dollars in refunds, which makes me extremely happy.
Secondly, the ONE online tax hub for my county is down for maintenance so I can't do my property tax. Like seriously??
