Meme with two men working at a pizzeria, one of the men, having just taken an order from a customer, has turned to the man behind him. Text reads: "Hey Jimmy, gimme a horror story with nuthin."

No discussion of any policies he's enacting or any harm trump is currently doing using his power. Just vibes, abstract ideas of ugliness, and flowery metaphors that make him ontologically evil (which seems to be synonymous with ugly and gross to this author).

It presents all these things as personal moral failings of trump. Talking about greed, sexism, and stupidity (qualities about trump/america that he is a distillation of) Without talking about the people he exploits, the women he's raped, or the attacks he's made on the education system.

While I agree with the general sentiment that trump is emblematic of everything wrong with this place, this piece oozing liberal slop particles.
This article says a lot about trump being gross as a person, but gives nothing, not even a word to the harm he causes others.

5. "Greed exalted as ambition" - Phrased as if greed isn't something that is in almost all cases definitionally an ambition. Implies that ambition is something good that's being perverted by greed instead of a word that describes a type of desire. Just weird.

They're synonyms. Strange phrase.

4. "Arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism" - Me when I dress up my arrogance (the quality of having an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities.) as exceptionalism (belief that a species, country, society, institution, movement, individual, or time period is "exceptional")

In addition using language of disease to describe moral failing leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

His manhood and presidency are core to why trump is an issue. This need to constantly other those we deem as evil, I assure you comes from insecurity and an inability to come to terms with reality, and a strong desire to cling to a flawed status quo.

Like why are we playing these games? People can be evil, and evil is something that men and president alike are very much capable of, maybe even put in a position where such acts are easily waved away. We are in a political climate with a rise in manosphere ideas and authority worship.

They sure have a way with words! Waow. Let's read into some key phrases that caught my eye.

1. "Cowardice of a draft dodger" can only be read as glorifying the military and/or warfare. In this context it is the draft in the Vietnam war. Interesting thing to say given the context around that draft.
