I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

really tired of conversations about how we need to get people to spend more time offline that don't acknowledge that one of the reasons people ARE online is their access needs aren't being met in physical spaces. This is especially true for queer people and disabled people.

Trans men being pregnant/having boobs *could* trigger someone's dysphoria yes, but that's not something you ask a trans man to TW for? It's impossible to make a single generalized "rule" about things as personal as gender expression, individual transness, and dysphoria.

Summary of my OC fic with tags. The summary reads, Emil betrayed his knighthood to give his prince a chance at a normal life after the King of Midgard died. Through separation, imprisonment, and reunion, Emil found his way back to Prince Mattias. Though Mattias is able to stand on his own now, Emil can never shake the old habit of protecting him, even if it means he still lives up to his dreaded nickname among former knights as "The Prince's guard dog." ...One of my many OC fic snippets featuring the gay people in my head that ruin my life. Enjoy!

Snippet of Chapter 3 with art of Emil pinning down Mat as they both clumsily fell down the stairs of the castle. The writing snippet shown reads, It was quite silly. The way Prince Mattias hung onto the knight's arm and buried his face against him in the empty castle hallway was quite the sight to see... if anyone was actually around to gawk at them right now. Most of the staff that resided in the castle were either in their quarters or quietly going about their business of finishing daily tasks before retiring for the night as well. This certainly made it easier for both of the men to make the trek successfully back to Mattias' bedroom without any more interruptions.
