I spoke immediately after Dvorak’s comments. Her failure to name her employer was sadly unsurprising but typifies the obfuscation tactics used by development consultants. Steadfast City was identified today as consultant for the #500Prospect data center developer.

This is standard practice at public hearings at governmental hearings in St. Louis and no one bats an eyelid.

Board of Adjustment rejected a variance request to allow a gas station to return to 14th & Chouteau. Lots of testimony in opposition from Ald. Page, police, even NestlePurina makes it unlikely to ever be a gas station again

Hawley wants answers from FEMA following reports of delayed tornado assistance in St. Louis Senator Josh Hawley sent a letter to the federal agency asking for answers about the reported delays of aid to victims of the May 16 tornado that ripped through St. Louis.

“St. Louis city officials have reported delays in the distribution of federal assistance... Some reports indicate that various aspects of the approved aid, however, have yet to arrive."
