By combining a broad sampling of the different Iberian Squalius species across the Iberian Peninsula with whole genome sequencing, we uncovered multiple cases of hybridization between species.

(2/2) This work focuses on genomics of ancient hybridization, using as model the Iberian chubs. Since it has been found that hybridization is overspread and was at play throughout the tree of life, shedding light in this phenomenon and its implications is crucial.
