Seeing high MELD patients w/ ALD who re-compensate with sobriety & get their lives back (and avoid transplant!) is incredibly rewarding. There are *some* people whom steroids help

There is still value in trials, pragmatic trials, that refine inclusion criteria, dose, duration, and stopping rules

-Mortality or Transplant in 27% cases of Disulfiram-induced DILI.
