Good things today:
1. I’ve gotten back up to almost where I was with my upper body workouts before I injured my leg.
2. I’m not near as sore as the first time I worked out after being out of commission for 2.5 months.
3. Freeze dried skittles. 🟢🟡🟠🔴🟣🔵
Three good things:
1. Alphie and Allie are one year old today 🥰
2. My leg wound is healing amazingly fast according to everyone at the wound care clinic. It shrank by 50% just since last Wednesday. Down to 13 cm x 3.2 cm today.
3. I learned a new acronym today: TACO. Trump Always Chickens Out 😆
Re: yesterday being the first day back in the gym after 2.5 months … ow. The good kind of ow, but ow.

I’m behind on my Three Good Things posts 😬
One HUGE good thing today though: this was my first day back at the gym since I injured my leg on March 7th. I made it through all nine upper body machines on my workout list, but I had to dial down the weight on some of them. I still call it a win!
Three good things
1. I am OK’d to start using my recumbent bike again. I’ve done a couple of 15 minute rides and all good!
2. My cardiologist says I don’t have to go back on blood thinners. They were the root cause of this 2-months-and-still-going ordeal.
3. My home care nurse is awesome 💙
I am looking to get a smart watch compatible with my iPhone, that can take EKG readings. Any recommendations?

Three good things:
1. Deviled Egg Potato Salad
2. My cats are weirdos sometimes. Allie likes to dip her paw in the bathtub while someone is in it and drink the water from her paw.
3. I may get to lower the dosage on one of my blood pressure meds.
Today’s three good things are really one big good thing:
I don’t have to wear the wound vac anymore!!!! Doc says I’m healing quickly and well 🥳

Three good things:
1. They gave me a break from the wound vac on Monday, it doesn’t go back on until Friday.
2. New Kittenpalooza video uploaded. Kittens and cardboard boxes never fail to amuse.
3. It was warm enough to have the patio door open all afternoon while I worked. ☀️ ❤️
Feeling discouraged about the pace at which my leg is healing. I get fatigued so easily right now because my body is trying to heal a massive wound, and I did not plan on this interruption in my life. (Don’t worry, all my healthcare providers are saying it’s healing beautifully. I’m just tired.)

Three good things:
1. Surgeon appointment went really well today, he says it’s healing nicely and he’s ready to schedule skin graft surgery.
2. He also gave me a two day break from the wound vac, just a normal dressing on it until Friday.
3. Celebratory Dilly bar on the way home. Cherry. 🩷
Accurate and hilarious at the same time. 😸🤪
