Had a lovely meeting just now. Going back to see the score of the game. Tied in the 7th. Time to stretch & get back into it in a few. Productive days are productive. Discipline & focus will be rewarded. I have folks on my team who are a community of winners.

Yet another reminder I need more discipline in my life.

ME, after not feeling entirely well earlier in the week: I need to eat healthier again. I know my body deserves it. I've become more & more hyper selective about the [redacted]. It's important to follow that thread with food again.

Also ME: Ok well I don't want to waste the trash pizza leftovers...

Yeah. The fact that there are also a bunch of bloggers who think they're journalists just because they have a pet project is something, too. Quite exhausting, really.

As I wait for the cuppa to calm down enough to taste just right, I sit here simmering in the quiet of my mind... floating in the reminders of waiting & feeling the discipline of patience. The places I desire are already here... or will be in the right time... when I'm also perhaps just right.

Oh, I'm not thinking anyone was speaking about me in general. I do feel that the groups in my area are in need of a voice & protection, though. They are already going through enough. That's not something I'm going to apologize for; that should be understood, like I get the frustration with the team.

Oh, I don't think you were necessarily. I get the frustration with the team & some of the players. Just a bit too close to home for me, admittedly, literally & figuratively given the whole ish going on outside of baseball. I mean, I do live here & all that so there's some bias for sure.

The level of apathy and total disregard for who gets to live or die around the world feels like it has just been sent beyond overdrive to plaid. I'm not unfamiliar with how wrecked we are with this world, but my goodness, it just continues to get worse more than better every day.

I heard about that & really do wish it was more talked about. He shouldn't have gotten that to fly under the radar so much. What he said was beyond fucking awful.

I do agree about Iran needing to be left alone, but returning the land back to the communities harmed by their removal from Chavez Ravine would be better all around than what you're saying. Not to mention the other communities around it which are full of marginalized people as well.

Yay! I fell asleep & woke up at like 3:31 a.m. when my housemate came into the kitchen. Went outside after I brushed my teeth & looked up. Might have missed the biggest part, but glad I got to actually see it this time. The clouds have ruined other eclipses. Glad you got to see it too!
