The Trump administration announced they’ll appeal a Judge's order to immediately fund #SNAP with the money they have available to do so, instead of coming to the immediate aid of millions of U.S. citizens in dire need.

Let that sink in.

Trump would rather rather fight in court than help Americans.

The longer the GOP refuses to come to the table and negotiate in good faith, the more obvious it is to the entire American public—regardless of political affiliation—that this is Trump's shutdown.

The GOP will pay a massive political price for it down the road.

I hope the results of today’s elections are the wake-up call that finally causes the Republicans in #Congress to start pushing back on Trump and do right by their constituents to avoid losing most of their their seats this time next year.

It’s nice to see it “officially” surface but kinda annoying they’re only including it by hiding it on the Blu-ray Disc no one ever plays in these box sets…

We should all be heartened by today’s elections, but the U.S. is still in the clutches of President #Trump. Things are about to get a LOT worse as he lashes out and intensifies his attacks on American Democracy.

Stay peaceful in your opposition…and be prepared for a very long and painful 3 years.

Trump’s now-tired yet oft-repeated complaints before every #election that any results he didn’t like means things were “rigged” should be both ludicrous and boring to even his MAGA followers by now.

The actions of Trump’s #DOJ indicate its leaders seem to believe the rules of fictional TV law shows are how you practice actual law.

Unsurprising, I know. But still pretty dispiriting that they’ve gotten away with as much as they have this far, based on flimsy to non-existent real legal reasoning.

So Trump has no problem illegally shuffling money around to pay the troops and his pet projects, but will stall against a court order for as long as possible to deny #SNAP benefits to millions of Americans, many of them MAGA, in real need.

Trump loves his illegal use of #tarriffs because they allow him to capriciously bully any nation that gets under his skin.

There is no chance his tarriffs will return manufacturing (or jobs) to U.S. soil in any meaningful way.

Recent Senate votes prove his own party knows this is a losing gambit.

It’s on the run!

When Kim Jong Un rebuffs your very public pleas to hang out and be buds again, it’s a clear indication you’re definitely not longer as influential as you think you are, Mr. #Trump.

Every single thing tanking the U.S. #economy right now are self-inflicted wounds caused by Trump and his administration.

Trump is also a terrible negotiator. His “win” in China basically restored the status quo from before his attempt to bully China with his tarriffs.

Anyone else share the feeling we shouldn't be so eager to move EVERYTHING into the Cloud, and make EVERY app Cloud-based?

I remember buying every horror and movie magazine that had articles and photos of how the effects in ‘The Thibg’ were done when it was first released!

#Spotify gave me an account to try out as a journalist back before it was legally available in the U.S.

I immediately saw the dangers the platform presented and it turned me off from using any streaming platforms from that point on.

This is an especially welcome move by Judge Ellis in light of the recent reshuffling to put Border Patrol in control over ICE that began last night, since this administration prefers a more violent approach.

The amount of illegal activity being carried out by Fedral agents in an attempt to foment the kind of chaos they already claim is happening here is shameful.

We in #Chicago will NOT take the bait.

I live here and want relatives & friends to understand that this administration is lying to them.

Let me make this clear.

ICE/DHS/Border Patrol are doing everything they can to try and instigate violence in Chicago, as they continuously break temporary restraining orders and defy any kind of oversight.

They are getting more confrontational and they are failing. #Chicago is resisting, lawfully.

How does this sound?

Each time an ICE agent is found to have “accidentally “ detained a U.S. citizen, that ICE agent has to spend the night in an ICE detention center.

Seems fair, no?

Trump has declared trade war on Canada because they had the audacity to run an ad featuring Ronald Reagan warning against the economic catastrophe of broad/unfocused tariffs during his own presidency?

It’s time for Congress to take back their Constitutional powers and stand up to this madness.

Just because Melania wants nothing to do with him or his presidency is no excuse for Trump to completely tear down the East Wing of the White House (historically the domain of the first lady).

Anyone who has observed Trump for the last 40 years knows he is a repeated failure as a real estate developer, often bullying others to shoulder the financial losses created by his incompetence.

This time we’ll be footing his bills as he razes history and constructs absurd monuments to himself.

It’s not just the facade, Trump has demolished almost the entire East Wing of the White House!!!

How can his MAGA supporters possibly agree with THIS?!

(Sadly, cult-like behavior will always find an excuse for a leader’s actions, but this is literally the destruction of THE PEOPLE’S HOUSE.)

Mainstream media needs to stop using the term “testing the boundaries” or similar wordplay for current Presidential actions or Trump Administration activity that has historically been illegal.

It paints a picture that “this is just normal boundary-pushing” when it is both norm-breaking AND illegal.

I am constantly shocked MAGA can’t do the simple exercise of replacing “Trump” with “Biden” in any given news headline describing the President’s current actions before cheering, and realize how much their own stances have changed and how horrific things have gotten in such a short time.

While Trump sends out AI-generated footage of him wearing a crown and pooping on protesters from a plane to his MAGA followers, this is just an actual photo of the White House he swore he wouldn’t touch just a few months ago.

Yet MAGA still believes everything Trump says.
