Yeah I did some tests before I painted using the Star Bright Silver, Mr Color GX White Silver, and some E7 Silver Chrome and the Star Bright Silver ended up looking the best. Gaia Notes is my favorite brand but it's kind of annoying that it's hard to get some of their specialty paints outside Japan.

Yeah it's that candy coat technique. Gaia Notes Clear Red over Gaia Notes Star Bright Silver. It was my first time trying it and I really like how it turned out.
