I know that sounds entitled, but seriously; they fixed it AND broke it seconds before launch, and never truly fixed it after. This is one of those situations where it was genuinely unfair.

I play a Hunter in World of Warcraft, and I do exploiting and OoB content when not progressing or doing main story content. Also, I collect Hunter pets in WoW!

29.01.2026 21:36 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The real slap in the face is that they were tameable up until the moment the patch went live, AND the animations were fixed when servers came up. Literally seconds apart.
I don't like to say this, but I'm going to anyway; we're owed the razorwings after that silliness.
@wowpetopia.bsky.social
With the prepatch now live (on NA realms right now, EU soon), Magmorax and Tor'go are now properly tameable! Magmorax respawns shortly after being tamed, so you can get multiple in one sitting.
Aw. Now it will cross the finish line a few milliseconds later. Tallstriders were too fast and needed to be nerfed.
06.01.2026 06:38 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Very true, but you never know. Nothing is off the table until it's explicitly stated, right? I also forgot about the garden snails lol.
31.12.2025 15:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You never know. We only have the launch content known to us. There could be a hidden Harandar area or new plant-themed zone in a later patch! Let's not count out the girthy vines yet!
I just pray it isn't another Siren Isle patch though lol.
2025 has been a fun learning year for me in World of Warcraft, specifically in breaking the game. I've made some fun memories and met a lot of great people this year. Here's hoping there's more fun in 2026 with Midnight on the horizon!

First two images here are my favorite locations, though they took hours to get to. Yes, HOURS. Worth it.
#WorldofWarcraft
Even more exploration I did this year. The Draenei in the first image is not an NPC; it's a static object with no collision. These are a little less exciting than the rest, but they were still fun to get to regardless.
#WorldofWarcraft
The year is coming to an end. It's December 30th here, but I'm gonna post a small thread of exploration shenanigans I got up to this year thanks to friends showing me how to go where I am not supposed to go.
I seriously can't get over this void effect. I don't know when they got it, but man. I appreciate these cats 100x more with these effects lol.
#WorldofWarcraft
The glow effect is much more noticeable in various environments. I really like this change they made. Actually makes me want to keep using Panthara.
29.12.2025 15:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Oh neat, Panthara got a cool void-y glow in #WorldofWarcraft at some point! Pain in the but to screencap a good shot, but here's three shots showing the effect. Look closely at its chest and legs.
27.12.2025 21:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A three-headed white sauropod beast from the video game World of Warcraft. This specific beast, named "Scale Mother Zodia", is unique in that she keeps her name when tamed, unlike others with the same appearance. This specific beast shares a spawning requirement with two other "Scale Mother" beasts, and which one spawns is entirely random. You can go years without ever seeing this (as I have). This is entirely cosmetic, as there is no difference between this and the more common version of this beast, aside from the unique name. Hunters in World of Warcraft cannot add spaces to their pets' names, so any tamed beast that retains its name when tamed is valuable to collectors.
I have never seen Scale Mother Zodia spawn in Naz'jatar until today. I have gone out there so many times, and I've see the other two Scale Mothers, but this is the first time I had ever seen Zodia. Today is a wonderful day for taming pets in #worldofwarcraft!
26.12.2025 15:24 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I don't mind this one; I like Pringles, but haven't had any in a while. This is the motivation I needed to get them lol.
22.12.2025 03:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So we DO have a dev listening to the pet taming community! Now we just gotta work one step at a time to get all the other missing skins on other NPCs... in due time of course!
Great that these two skins are available now though.
He caught me taking a dookie in the bush... how will I ever recover!
Also, throwing my rating for your house out there; 8.5/10. Needs more sunlight, but a very cozy little cabin in the autumn woods regardless!
@wowpetopia.bsky.social
I'm currently hiding at Wain's house at Founder's Point, nobody tell him๐
I love how this thing looks like a glitch tame. The weird pink ghost effect is certainly something. RIP me though, I used gold to faction swap to get that and living Grong. Not salty, mind you; just wishing I didn't waste gold lol.
04.12.2025 23:26 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Logged in just to show the changes. I can't believe they fixed my clown house exterior, RIP.
04.12.2025 14:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The golem is still there; they didn't reset my entire plot. They just took all the funny roof decorations off and left me with the default house.
So, since Blizzard hates fun, I turned my house into this. I didn't screenshot the current look, but I changed the walls to stone before going to bed.
When housing dropped on Tuesday in #WorldofWarcraft, I made a golem. I also somehow had my house turned into an absolute mess, and my door got taken somehow. Was a fun experience having no door and a technicolor mess of a building next to my golem.
Woke up today to find my house was normal again.
I need a pocket Blizzard dev to follow me around on beta so I can get more silly and inane things changed purely for laughs.
Blizzard, send me a dev so I can do this! Please?
For example, there was a chair in Harandar that didn't face inward when all the other nearby chairs did. I said it bothered me as a joke, and sure enough, they spun it around... and all of the other chairs! Screw order, embrace madness!
28.11.2025 04:46 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0#WorldofWarcraft #Midnight beta really needs a feedback button. I don't want to go post on the forums because... well, I just don't wanna. So, I use the bug report feature!
I've actually gotten some subtle things changed that nobody would care about other than me ๐
I'm not entering, but I'm engaging because engagement is always fun.
My first answer: ALL OF THEM
My second answer: All of my unintended tames!
My real answer: www.wow-petopia.com/look.php?id=...
I begged for years to get this guy. I would plant him in my garden right away if given the chance.
A shoddy traced doodle of a Potadpole from World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Midnight. Potadpoles are the baby form of Potatoads, a funny bipedal tadpole with a barbed tongue. Potatoads are tameable as Florafaun in the Hopper family, and Potadpoles use the animations of Mudskippers which are also in the Hopper family.
Peacefully protesting now for #WorldofWarcraft to make potadpoles on the #Midnight beta be flagged as tameable beasts rather than critters. I love these dumb little guys so much.
27.11.2025 00:46 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've lost count of how many bug reports I've put in, but seeing things I reported getting fixed makes me happy. I'm probably (most likely) not the only one hitting some of these silly bugs like the disconnect mushrooms, but I still report em!
#WoW #Worldofwarcraft #Midnight
Petopia got a bit hostile over these pink unicorns just a bit ago. Even some of the more docile users got a bit more heated than normal. I don't think we deserve pink unicorns if that's the general reaction we have for them not being tameable. People gotta chill.
16.11.2025 17:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sure, it sucks that the pink skin isn't available, but there's a lot of things not available that are unique. Pink dreamrunners being part of that area's little animal sanctuary gives it more charm.
