Imagine a scenario where bad cops are pulling over POC and demanding sex acts or cash. The Laken Riley Act gives unchecked power to law enforcement. They can falsely accuse people & threaten them with deportation or indefinite detention. This bill enables abuse because it ends due process.

Know your rights. Put together a family preparedness plan. Consult an immigration attorney. Get a state ID if allowed. Connect with grassroots group in your community.

The next 4 years will be horrific for immigrants.
